I've been thinking a lout about the ideas of Bernard Lietaer and Margit Kennedy, Muhammad Yunus, Goetz Werner and others to rethink the way we deal with money. This series of videos brings it to the point. We really need to get up and start doing something about it.

Just tested geode, the FF plugin that will be included in FF 3.1 and Fennec. It gives developers the chance to locate you via JS. In the 3.1 built in version, the location source can be selected by the user: skyhook, GPS, etc...

This is exciting for the desktop browser, but even more so for the mobile version! Cannot wait to test that too!

The brave new world of living on Google cloud is even one step closer.
I just discovered Googles "Native Client" which is a plugin (Firefox) that allows for execution of native code within the browser.

It is in early development stage but fully functional with impressive results, on my mac, that is... Installing is easy: simply execute an installer script from the shell. That's it.
