Just had dinner with DJ Danny Dan the beatmann, one of the first Hip Hop DJs from the bronx.
He started cutting in 1975 after having seen Kool Herc do it.

What i noticed most during our conversation was the repetitive use of the phrase "Back in the old days"....

Interesting to see party-people living in the past like that.
